Holly Wihnon

RA at Humber

Holly Wihnon graduated from Humber’s Criminal Justice degree program in 2020. She has since gained a certificate in Community Engagement, Leadership, and Development and plans to complete her Masters degree in the coming future.


Holly is experienced in qualitative research and project development. While completing her undergrad, she worked on Humber’s Harm Reduction Partnership (HHaRP) team supporting the development of harm reduction policies and procedures on campus. She completed her undergraduate thesis on Hamilton’s police-reported hate crime rate by employing a qualitative case study methodology with interviews.


After graduating, Holly worked with the Corporate Social Purpose Team at Canopy Growth as a qualitative data analyst. She is currently developing a research project using a holistic approach focusing on effective programs and services for kids with incarcerated parents. Holly anticipates growing in the research field, working closely with her community and supporting community development.
